Maybe this is why inflation is so high!? I took my GMC Sierra to Fountain GMC to have them fix three things, A clogged AC drain line, a squeak coming from the back of the vehicle and an occasional slip in the transmission. I have an extended warranty and I was told they would contact the warranty company and call me back with an estimate. I assumed that I’d get a call that day but it was the next morning, I was told that the warranty was good and the charge would be a $100.00 deductible but it wouldn’t cover the AC drain line and that would be $250.00 to fix. I was told that if I approved the work it would be done in two days (a total of 4 days from when I brought, he vehicle in). Being without a car for 4 days was a “pain” but I agreed. Fountain called me the next afternoon and said that it was going to take longer and the vehicle would be ready in 4 additional days or a total of 8 days. I can’t be without a car for 8 days and I had a trip to South Florida planned for the day I was “supposed” to get the vehicle back so I told them to not do the work and I’d come and get the car. When I got there to pick up the vehicle, I was told that because I choose not to do the work they couldn’t charge the extended warranty company for the diagnostics and I would need to pay for that, it was a $500.00 charge. I told them that we had an agreement, I would pay for the service and they would do the service in 4 days… they failed to live-up to their end of the agreement so I wasn’t paying! After a “back and forth” I won that battle. Incidentally, the transmission wasn’t “throwing a code” so I was told there wasn’t anything they could do, the backend squeak was being caused by bad rubber body mounts and the clogged drain line was, just that. So, what was the $500.00 diagnostics for??? On my drive home I stopped by a Firestone Tires Plus store and asked if they could fix a clogged AC drain line. They said, no problem… I asked how much it would cost and they said $20.00 if that was all I needed but, if I was getting additional work they would do it for fee. I had them clear the drain line, it took a total of 30 seconds after they got the vehicle in the bay. Remember, Fountain wanted $250.00 for that service!!! I will never go back to that dealer!!!

The sales department is a great place. Do not trust or take your vehicle in for service, Fountain service are a bunch of criminals they install parts without diagnosing your vehicles problems. The service manager Nestor Diaz is a criminal that is stealing from GMC and Acura by installing warranty parts that the vehicles don’t need. The labor rate is outrageous and the company is pocketing all the money without any pay rises to the Tech. The place is a cesspool of filth and the management is a joke and criminals. Stay Away far away.

I went looking for A car and a deal was made on an RDX with me (Eduardo). A hand written application was filled out (can be reviewed if they still have on file), and signed by me as the applicant and I asked my son (Angel) if he want to be a co-applicant to build his credit, and he signed. Then, when it was time for the electronic application they changed it and placed Angel as the applicant and me (Eduardo) as the co-applicant. When we asked they said it was due to him being on active duty, and in order to received the rebate. Now, if a deal was made prior to even filled the hand written application why the Sales Representative (Vincent), Sebastian, and everyone else that worked with this deal on 2/2/2025, changed and switched the names on the application I don’t know. Now, Angel left the US to Italy, the primary name on the car is him and I am the secondary owner I CANNOT DO ANYTHING AT THE DMV BECAUSE HE IS THE PRIMARY. Now, I tried to work with the manger, but apparently his hand are tides. Yes, the car is on both names, but since the Acura Fountain Sales switched names and put Angel as the primary and me (Eduardo) as the secondary I can do anything. Acura Fountain Dealer said they can so anything, the is funded, blablablah…. But I guess they never had made an application error for any customers, because they can change/update or correct any applications. Like they said “ this is the first time that something like this happens, that they are here to and we are happy to help you , blablabla…, and no one have called back or tried to help us to make these changes since it was done by the employees. Here I am, 2/26/2025, Angel still the primary, I still the secondary, so for DMV purposes Angel is the only that can do anything at the DMV because of the lake of knowledge that ALL THE EMPLOYEES WHO WERE INVOLVED ON THIS DEAL.
